Want to became an RSA Recreational Shooter? Here is some information to get started:

• All those wanting to bring a shotgun through RSA gates will need to register firearms through the Department of Emergency Services(DES) at 3623 Grey Rd.
  • Complete the PDF of the Form 2313 RSA Weapons Registration here.
  • Deposit your completed form in the drop box at the Sgt.'s desk at DES.
  • Retrieve your completed form packet after roughly 72 hours.
• Recreational Shooters must create an iSportsman account to check in and out of the RSA Skeet and Trap Fields.
  • Go to the iSportsman website here and proceed to the Login/Register icon on the homepage.
  • Select Register and enter in the required information.
  • As a Recreational Shooter you are not required to watch the Hunter Safety Orientation, however you will not be able to continue until you text or call 256-316-7939 to activate your account.
• Those with Redstone Gate Access have the ability to Recreational Shoot

• Bring you approved and completed RSA Weapons Registration and a form of Military ID or Sponsored badge to the Skeet and Trap office Bldg 5123 (the first left off Sportsman Road, through the gate).

Participants will be required to purchase the annual Recreational Shooter permit for $25 through the iSportsman website.
